Hi, my name is Richard and I own an electric scooter for years now. Electric scooters are fun and practical which makes them suitable for city commuting.
Electric scooter idea is not new, actually, the first patent for such a vehicle was submitted in 1895. But, it didn’t become a thing until the late 90’s when first commercial mass-produced vehicles were brought to the world by Peugeot, a French company.
Why Electric Scooters?
Switching to smaller, greener and practical vehicles will happen with time as cities become more crowded and make cars seem useless. I believe in this electric vehicle “revolution” and especially in small electric scooters which are convenient to daily commute. They don’t solve the long distance problems, but they’re great for daily use.
Mission
The idea came up when I bought my electric scooter, a small one, and foldable, E-Twow Booster for about 700$. I wanted to share some of my experience from riding, maintenance and more important tips for buying one. I had a time hard deciding if I should get one considering I already have a car. But they are great for the daily commute, fast, reliable, low cost per mille and fun.
I would recommend anyone to try a short ride with an e-scooter, but I warn you, you may fall in love with it.
My mission is to provide all sorts of useful information about electric scooters, parts, how to choose if between an electric scooter and other means of transportation and different product reviews. With this information, you know exactly what (and what not) to expect from an e-scooter.
Ads and Affiliate Reason
I may use Affiliate Links and Ads on this website in order to generate some revenue to keep the site’s momentum going. Running a website is not expensive, but the time invested in articles, design maintenance, and hosting can add up. I hope ads won’t bug you very much and I thank you in advance for understanding the reason behind them.
All the products I recommend, mainly from Amazon.com are reliable and trustworthy with lots of good reviews. I wouldn’t add products which I don’t find useful or don’t worth the money spent. If you think a product is inappropriate or it’s no longer available send me a message and I will remove that link right away.
